People failed. A lot of people failed at a lot of things. But when they labs have been so easy Callista could do them in her sleep... it was just annoying. Students had been falling behind in the labs for no reason besides the fact they didn't want to do them! So she would sit here for a few hours after school was out, and watch as students came, stayed for a little, got little done and left. How could a student be happy with failing? She had the easiest damn class. It had nothing to do with their powers so they didn't have to worry about losing control and she had them doing a bunch of activities so they didn't have to sit there bored out of their miserable minds. What the bloody hell was wrong with students these days.
"See you later, Mrs. Stones." A random girl called as she bounded out of the room by fazing through the door. These students did want to use their powers and she chose to teach a class that didn't consist of powers because A) she went to college for this and B) because she wanted to give them a break. But Callista knew... oh how she knew that students wanted nothing more than to become like their favorite Marvel super hero and let everyone in the world know that Powers existed.
Callista needed wine. No... she needed something much stronger than a good glass of Red Cat. Maybe nice flask of Whiskey. No... whiskey didn't taste that good. The 48 year old woman sighed and jumped up when the timer on her coffee pot dinged and told her that her coffee was finished brewing. The smell rose throughout the air and circled her with loving arms. Even if she was dead tired, Callista had coffee and she knew once her students saw their grades, they'd be thankful she spent all her time in the class room waiting for them to take the hint and stop by to get her help and get things done.
"Maybe if I incorporated their powers into class some how... I'm sure they'd be quite thankful. Or maybe I'll just have them skip my class and go to Ben's... No." Callista growled and took her mug over to the coffee machine and poured herself some. She didn't add anything to the drink and sat in one of the desks in the middle of the room. "What.... what can I do... I refuse to let anyone fail!" Callista was stubborn to say the least.
As she drank from her red mug and looked at the white board with a grin. "Maybe we'll play a game." Yes. A game they could use their powers and review the material the students already knew. Callista just hoped she could you the gym because she was not allowing these hellions to ruin her nice class room.
Standing up and stretching, Mrs. Stones looked at the door and sighed. "Guess no one else is coming for the night. Thank Zeus."

The corridors were quite empty, the shallow echoes of students yelling at each other could be heard, but it meant they were quite far away from the soil Victor was stepping. You could say he was kinda new to the School, compared to most teachers. His classes were quite entertaining, any other regular History teacher would be surprised, since that same discipline is seen as something boring and dull to most kids. He always managed to turn something boring into something exciting and innovative.
Innovating something considered old, that sounded so ironic, yet it was the truth. Most History teachers were grumpy, senile old man, so he enjoyed breaking the stereotype, he was the charming, friendly, new teacher. Most students knew that every time he told them to open their books something cool would come out of it. Instead of monotonically spitting hundreds of words he transformed the pages into a cool new adventure. Sometimes people would feel like they were part of the History, his theatrical way of explaining stuff helped a lot. He would emphasis the drama, the violence, the considered miraculous acts. Who could resist such a warm smile?
His legs stopped moving near one of the paintings perfectly nailed to the boards. He was an art fanatic, so any painting, sculpture, would make him stop for some quick admiring. His eyes traced the outlines, the shadows, the way the brushes had created such a beautiful work of art. The shapes, the colors, it was all orgasmic to his vision. Granted, he preferred analyzing paintings with a cigar in one hand and a glass of scotch on the other, but this would have to do. Looking to his left he noticed a misplaced painting so with a few movements using his mind he placed it on the right position.
Lowering his arms and reaching for his pockets he retrieved a small watch, it was late, later than he thought, Victor had never been a fan of sleeping endless hours, he enjoyed walking at night, getting some fresh air, and then if necessary sleep around five to six hours. He kept one of his hands inside his pocket and with the other he rushed through his hair with his fingers. He was kinda tired, not enough to meet with his bed tho. His legs kept pushing forward and he suddenly noticed an open door, he decided to take a look.
Inside a teacher was sitting, deep in her own thoughts. We all had our own problems right? Victor entered the room, he didn't really care if she allowed him to do it or not, if she indeed felt like his presence was unwanted he would just leave without uttering a single word. He sat down in one of the student's tables and looked up at the women, she was way older than him, could that mean she was experienced? Not always age meant experience. Victor was quite young yet his culture was vast. He opened his mouth in a warm smile. "Having some late dilemmas?".

Callista jumped and dropped her mug onto the floor. "What the blood hell, son?! Don't just scare someone like that!" It was an understatement to say Callista was jumpy. Whenever she was deep in thought she never noticed people so even when her students where sitting in front of her for the whole class, the moment one of them spoke she jumped fifty feet and then screamed at them for giving an old lady a heart attack.
Sighing, the woman looked down at her mess and frowned. There went a perfectly good mug. Looking back at the intruder, Callista analyzed him. He dressed nice that was for sure and he had a nice smile. Callista lowered her glass down around her neck, they were on a chain her daughter made her when she was younger. She ran her fingers through her hair and glared at him before nodding and giving him a small smile of her own.
"Yes. Its only the begining of the year, students have had only 2 labs so far and yet a large number of them have fallen behind. Quite aggravating." Callista answered and wandered over to her desk where she grabbed a broom and dust pan and started to clean up the mess the man had caused her to have. Men where so infuriating when their stealthyness. Stopping suddenly, she noticed he must be a new teacher. "Whats your name?"
