Dorian watched Angelique with a genuine confusion at her reaction. He had never understood people completely, had always been an outsider, but the fact that she had this power and didn't actually want to use it... that was strange by anyone's standards, wasn't it? He could only imagine what the world would have been like if he had been born with such a gift instead of her. He certainly wouldn't have shied away from it like some scared animal. He would embrace it. Practise it. Angelique didn't even deserve her power if she wasn't going to use it, if she was just going to pretend to be a normal, boring human with normal, boring problems and no future, like the rest of the planet.
Her attitude was disgusting.
Although inside he sneered at her with the utmost disdain, outwardly he remained calm, and in fact seemed to simmer down a little after his bout of initial excitement. "Okay." He nodded, understandingly. In a silent pause, he walked the few steps back to the rock and leaned on it casually. "Sorry for getting all worked up." He went on, "It's just kind of mind-blowing, you know? Discovering all this..." He looked at her thoughtfully, "But I guess for you it's not so great. Being special must come with downsides too, right? Keeping the secret is probably just one of them."
Looking at her, quiet little schoolgirl with the power of a monster... if he could just take that power out of her... cut her head open and steal it from inside... But that wasn't the way the world worked. Instead, he would continue to press the right buttons, keeping the lines open. He was sure that this discovery was only the beginning. There was so much more to learn from this girl, about powered people, about the school.
"Do you think," He began, carefully, "That we could be friends, Angelique? I know we got off on the wrong foot, and that's my fault... but I'm really glad that we met."
((Heroes reference FTW))

{I'm really sorry, but it's going to be a miracle if I can get a real post up within the next week. Things are really crazy right now. I should have something by Sunday. And sorry, missed it xD I don't watch Heroes.}

“It’s okay,” said Angelique. “My sister freaked out too.” The corners of her mouth tugged upwards into a small smile at the memory of Lunella jumping around and hugging her and jumping again. Sometimes her mother had joked that it was like Angelique was the older one and Lunella was the little sister.
Keeping it a secret…she’d never really thought of that as hard. It was enough for her to know she had it, and Lunella. And up at the Academy everyone knew everyone else’s power. “Well, it’s not so much the secret,” she said. “And—sure. That’d be nice.” Having a friend. An actual friend, not just someone she’d talked to once or twice, not just someone who’d partner with her in class voluntarily. And down in St. Michael’s, too. This would be interesting. The Chinese said that interesting was a curse, and sometimes Angelique was inclined to agree with them, but how could this possible go wrong? Notes: blerg. My RPGing, it doth suffer, thank you so much graduation week. If you hate this, just let me know and I will endeavor to make it non-crappy.

the best!!!!Just wanted to express big thanks for such a detailed description of the items!Do you know if 2012 new bags collection will include the Chanel boy in quilted black leather?? Are the "classic boy" a permanent line?? Thanks! I haven't seen at any website so many pictures of the designer jewelry and handbags models: it feels like I visited a real store. Excellent job!
