Power's Academy, founded in 1904 by Miss Janet Mays. The fliers and pamphlets claim that it is a rich boarding school for children ages 6-18. Great educators, great facilities, and a great environment. It seems like the perfect school for any teenager or child to attend, but the staff are very picky of who they let in. You can try to apply and send your child to the school, but you usually won't get in.

Unless you're special.

Truly special, not just in the way that all parents assure their children they are. Power's Academy isn't just a regular boarding school. It only takes in gifted students. No, we don't mean geniuses. We mean kids with special gifts. Powers. Invisibility. Elasticity. Super speed. Super strength. Telepathy. If you can think of it, there's probably a kid at Power's who has it. The school is a place for kids to learn to use their powers and control them so that they don't injure themselves or others, and the kids aren't the only ones who are special. The teachers have all attended PA at some point or another, and have returned to the school to train the gifted of tomorrow.

Power's Academy is shrouded in secrecy. Not even the people from the nearby town of St. Michael's know what it's really about, but after years of being within the same area as a super-powered school, rumors have begun circulating in St. Michael's and are spread through the generations. 'Norms' are beginning to get suspicious about the school, and some who've heard the rumors believe them. Many of those are just innocent interested people, stuck in the ideas of superheroes who could help the world. Others are a bit more... intense. There are many who believe that Powers are freaks of natures. Abominations. Monsters. Creatures that shouldn't exist and should all be eliminated. Some of the more violent ones wouldn't hesitate to attack anyone that they think could be a Power, but most Powers aren't defenceless themselves. With tensions as high as they are between Powers and those who hate them, there's sure to be clashes.
