Ability to bend shadows at his will. He can make them into solid form as long as he continuously concentrates on the object he is making. He has worked on several forms to use this such as creating barriers or controlling other peoples shadows so they must move with their shadows. He is also able to travel from one shadow to another shadow. This ability is still new to him and is not only extremely temperamental but requires much more concentration than expected.

He also might let it go normal when he is too lazy to mess with it. It usually rests in a swoosh across his face like a mix of skater and emo.

( O V E R A L L )[/COLOR] Jake pretends not to care about anything appearing to be carefree and slightly rebellious. Between leaning on walls and his sport games (depends on the season) he tends to just bask in everyone else's shadow. He doesn't hide the fact that he has powers from anyone at power but he doesn't go off flaunting them around like he has seen others do. He is modest about his powers just like he is about himself. In his mind he isn't great at anything even though he is a star soccer and football player as well as a really good friend. People who don't really know him would classify him as the typical teenager who doesn't care about anything but Jake puts lots of effort to appear like he doesn't care.

Jake has many friends on the teams he is part of and likes to hang with the guys because they are so relaxed and chill that Jake has a breather from thinking that he can actually joke around. Jake doesn't really have too many friends outside of the team because Jake looks so uninviting that no one really approaches him to befriend him. Dahlia is his only close friend but he doesn't think that counts since they have known each other since forever. Jake is also overprotective, he overreacts to situations involving his friends and can be quite the bear in a fight. Jake is more of a teddy bear though, he is loyal to his friends and looks harmless but can throw quite the punch. He also is very clever with words and can come up with great insults in a very short amount of time. A skill he uses only when he is annoyed. Jake is really oblivious to the looks he gets from girls, he only really notices the lust filled stares when someone points them out to him and Jake will then brush it off quickly. Another think he is modest or oblivious to, his looks.
