[glow=blue,5,000]Alice!
[/glow]Nevermind the title, this won't be five minutes worth of reading. =D
I'm Alice, 17 years old, very much a theatre junkie, in band, speech, and am a midwestie. (-super secret midwest high five-). I've been RPing for roughly four years, give or take, and love it. =D I also take part in Nanowrimo, if anyone knows what that is.
I have two big fat black and white kittehs named Sass and Snoopy, and have a smallish kitten named Sophie. =D
I love my life, as a whole. There are some aspects that I would rather not have there, but I realize that if I want to be a better person, and to understand people better, I need to have that in my life. I wouldn’t trade my mistakes and failures for anything, because I believe that they’ve made me a better person, with more knowledge and more… spunk? Sometimes I find myself at a loss of words for myself, but that’s how I like it. I enjoy wearing bright bright colors and dressing the way no one else would dare, even if they wish they could. I hate blending in with the crowd, and I hate it when people tell me to tone it down, to be more normal. I say there is no real normal, and that people who think they’re normal are not living their lives the way they want to.
I haven’t had a heck of a lot of experience in relationships, but I’m okay with that. I think that when someone brave enough likes me for who I am, then they’ll figure it out. I’m very old fashioned, some would say; I believe in abstinence until after marriage, and am very solidly a Christian. Yes, I do believe that Christ died to save me; yes, I do believe that you need to treat people with respect and kindness, but not be a pushover; and no, I don’t believe that kind deeds will get me to heaven.
Now that my religious spiel is over, let me say some other things. I love Wicked by Gregory Maguire, but I have yet to see the play. Sad face. =( I also love the Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings (books and movies). Harry Potter is alright, though it has ceased making my tops list. I'm also very happy about Eyes like Stars and Perchance to Dream, books by Lisa Mantechev.
Music-wise I love Skillet, Breaking Benjamin, Linking Park, Red, some Demon Hunter (the not screamo ones), Paramore, some Tokio Hotel, and a whole lot of others. I play trombone (I've named him Tommy Bone )in the school band and love what we play in there as well.
And, last but not least, I adore chocolate. ^^
