The boy knew that most High School students would never go to a playground, but Kaiser was no ordinary high school student. He was a kid at heart, granted he was only fifteen, most other students would have looked down on him for playing on the swing set. He just needed to get away from everyone, especially his jackass roommate Nathan. What was with that guy? Was he trying to make Kaiser's high school life harder than it already was? 'I wish he would just leave me alone.' He thought as he pushed himself on the swing.

Luckily for Kaiser, no one would assume he wasn't elementary student. He was only five foot three and barely weighed one hundred pounds soaking wet. He watched a few students pass him by, much younger than he. Was he actually expecting to make friends out here? 'Maybe I'll meet another high schooler who likes to play too.' He thought as he gave himself another push. Kaiser brought his hand up and pushed his bright, blonde hair out his face. "Hopefully I can make some friends here." He said, wondering if he actually would be able to do so.

Kaiser wasn't sure he'd be able to make it out of High School alive if he didn't have any friends. No one to go to if something was wrong, no one to play with, no one to just hang out with. Then there was the thing that seemed to constantly stay on his mind. Would he find someone here to be with? Truth be told, Kaiser has never even been in a relationship, though that didn't mean he didn't imagine it in his head every night before bed. The boy just wanted his knight in shining armor, was that so hard to ask for? He wanted the boy of his dreams...but that seemed to be just that...a dream. All the boys here were either straight or scared to come out the closet and Kaiser was not about to deal with that.

The boy let out a large sigh, attracting the attention of a few kids. He gave them a gentle smile and they turned back to what they were doing. "Sometimes I just wish I was normal and not some freak." Kaiser said under his breath. "It'd be so much easier."

Christopher whistled cheerfully as he skipped toward the playground, letting the breeze catch his jacket and sweep it gently. He loved playgrounds even though he seemed too big to be on one, but that didn't prevent him from coming to the one in the elementary school. As a child, Chris spent a lot of his time with his friends at playgrounds, always daring each other to jump off the highest slide or seeing who could swing the highest without falling. Chris won most of the time, doing things that most kids learned not to do. It wasn't that he didn't know, it was just that he never felt a dire obligation to heed the advice. After all, a burst of excitement and the following satisfaction of winning was the best thing that Christopher could ever ask for. Those were such fun time and Chris could not help but smile as he started reminiscing over these memories.

Looking around, anyone could tell that autumn was just starting to creep over the land, drawing it's delicate paintbrush over the trees. The leaves were still green, but no longer carried the fresh, brightness that emitted from them during the dreamy midsummer. Now, they seemed to be more reclusive, as if bracing themselves for the wash of oranges and reds that, even as we speak, were crawling up upon the edges of the leaves. 

Chris enjoyed the fall; the weather was pleasant and it was the start of the school year. He could not help but grin as he slowed down to a walk, glancing around at the scenery around him. This was the beginning of his second year here at Power's Academy, this wonderful school for people who had special abilities like himself. It was truly a shame that he couldn't attend before high school. Rather, he did not even know about this school until he found out his ability to pass through walls and other solid objects. He could remember his first time doing it, too, seeing all the shocked faces of his friends as he ran straight through a brick wall. It was a little hard to explain, but that moment was what marked a turning point in his life.

Kicking around a few rocks, Chris scanned the area as he ran a hand through his hair. Most of the place was empty, but there were a few elementary students here and there. One, however, was not, Chris noticed as he glanced toward the swings. It was a high school student that was probably around Christopher's age, albeit a lot shorter. He had blond hair and was just swinging on the swings alone. That wouldn't do. What fun was in playing by yourself? With that thought in mind, Chris ran up to the swing set and stood directly in front of the other boy's swing. He had positioned himself just outside of the boy's leg's reach, but it was still incredibly close and it still seemed scary to stand so class to a moving swing's path. 

"Yo!" Christopher greeted the boy with a large smile hanging on his face. "Whatcha doing out here alone?"

The scent of fresh air and just general nature hit Aidan's nostrils and slowly woke up from what seemed like a nightmare. He had been wondering though town looking for something to eat, and he found himself drawn to a large scrub. Now that he was awake he could almost taste that scrub, no he could taste it. He started moving his tongue around his mouth, and was all annoyed that he found just what he knew all along would be where. It was a small leaf from that same scrub he had eaten in his dream “Damn it, why can I never just dream like normal people why does it always have to be a dinosaur taking my body for a joy ride.” It was then his body realized just how cold it was out, now to most it was pretty nice out but for someone who’s blood ran cold, this day had a little to much chill to it. He knew he had to get had to get out of here and back to his dorm room before he got to cold. First he need to know just where he was, so he sat up, to take a look around. It was then a large gust of wind hit him straight in his bare chest. This sent a good shiver though out his body, “That is the last time I ever sleep in boxers, blast that electric blanket for being so damned warm.”

So after recovering from the chill gust of wind, he took a real look around, but to his dismay all he could see was a plastic climbing wall. Of course i would end up at the elementary school, I will never be allowed to forget about this if two many of those kids see me like this. With that he took to his feet, and slowly inched his way to the edge of the plastic climbing wall, and he saw something he never would have expected, two guys from the high school. Great, not only will I have kids poking fun at me, but now people from my fricking grade are going to know this happened. He wasn’t sure where to go from here, he had to walk buy those two to head back to the his dorm. Or he could wait till they left, but if he did that he would be chancing freezing out here. So after a large sigh he started to walk out from behind the plastic wall, and started his walk of shame over to the other two guys. With some luck he would get by them with them saying a word, but he knew that would never happen.

Kaiser looked up as someone spoke. "Huh?" He asked as if the person had to have been talking to someone else. "Me? I...uh...I don't know really. I just wanted to come out here and um..." He said nervous. 'Why does he care?' The boy thought looking worried. Everyone at this school seemed to be rude, was this boy the same way? "I don't know anyone else here and I wanted to come play." He said as he slowed the swing down so he wouldn't hit the guy in the face with his feet. "Why?" He asked as he scratched the back of his head. "You arent gunna like...beat me up for playing on the playground are you? Cause if you are thinking about it, I don't go down easy." He said standing up and taking a defensive stance. "You're not like the other's are you? I might be short but I..." He started to say but his attention was grabbed by something else.

A boy, who was nearly naked, walking past them. "Ummm..." He said a the other boy. "Need some clothes?" Kaiser couldn't help but stare, not only because the boy was attractive, but at the complete shock value of the situation. "You seem to have lost what you were wearing." He said with a little giggle. "The view is nice though." he said blushing.

The boy on the swings had started stammering, obviously nervous about something. Was he really that intimidating, Chris asked himself. He never thought of himself as scary. Like other people? Did that mean that this boy was often bullied? "B-beat you up? Christopher exclaimed, bewildered by the thought. "Why in the world would I-What the heck?" Before he could finish, his attention was caught by another student, walking around with nearly nothing on. It was fall, for goodness sakes! Was the guy trying to catch a cold or something? The blonde boy had also turned his attention to the half-naked guy, ogling at him with a peculiar interest.

Christopher arched an eyebrow and observed the guy. It seemed like he had just gotten out of bed, but why was he outside? And most importantly, why the elementary school playground? This was very, very strange, but at Power's Academy, you could expect anything. "Dude, did you get out of the wrong side of the bed today?" Chris queried as he took his jacket off and offered it to the boy. "If you want, use this to cover up until you can get back to your dorm."

Aidan hadn't even made if a couple steps before they both almost at the same time noticed he was walking by, not that he didn’t expect as much but he really hoped it would have taken a little longer than it did. Well I guess there's no real point in ignoring them now, that would just make me seem rude, plus the blond one likes me. He said with a bit of a grin on his face, then remembered he was naked, and along with that smile his cheeks started to turn a nice deep red. Ok here goes nothing He turned most of his attention to the first boy who had addressed him, and seemed like he might have wanted to be the one that got to undress him. “Ahh... ya cloths would be real nice right now,” he said chucking before he spoke next “sorry for in impromptu too show, although for you I might Hav...” Just as he was about to finish applying his charm he got hit by another gust of cold air “I really wish it was summer when we met, so i could show you some of my charm. But its not, and I am freezing and if I don’t get warmer soon I wont be able move at all. So night to meet you, but unless you really have cloths I could wear I need to be going.”

It was then he turned his attention to the other boy, who he had completely forgot about when talking to the cute blonde. “Ya wrong side of the bed, I think you would need waking up in your bed more then one night a week to be able to get up in one, must-less on the wrong side.” He said with his teeth chattering from being so cold. Then with out even saying a thing took the jacket from the boy, and quickly put it on. He was much more worried about getting a little warm then even saying thank you, but after a little of getting the jacket on rubbing his hand together to get them a little warmer he remembered his manners. “Um...ya... thanks that’s very nice of you” he said feeling kinda bad for not saying something before he grabbed it. It was then he realized that he couldn't move his legs Damn it “I know this might sound weird, but I can't really move my legs right now, and kinda need some help.” He looked down in shame as if he were a dog a had done something wrong. “I will really owe you one if you can help me, because I need to find a way to get warmer.” The more he spoke the worst he felt about asking this much of people at all, much less asking them out of the blue when they where talking. Oh no I interrupted something.

“I kinda feel bad right now for not saying something sooner, but um I am sorry for intruding on your conversation or what ever you where doing.” He then said something that he knew for his sake was stupid, but it needed to be said. “On second thought, you guys can just keep talking and help me when ever you are done, if you want to its up to you.” Aidan really disliked asking for help, but he was ether getting there help or becoming one very frozen dino-boy.

"I know the feeling, the summer is when I'm the most fun too." He said giving a little chuckle. 'Wait, did he just say...?' Kaiser thought as he stared at the boy. "Ummm..." He stammered as his face turned bright red. 'He's probably just really friendly or something.' The boy thought as he watched him put on the jacket. "Why can't you move your legs?" Kaiser asked, moving his just in case. "Are you that cold?" He asked, sure it was a bit chilly but it wasn't horribly cold. He then looked to the boy who had first walked up to him then back to the half naked boy. "Um...wanna help him?" Kaiser asked as he looked upward towards the sky, making sure his friend was there. 'Thanks ole pal.' He thought as he saw the sun. There wasn't much warmth coming from it but the sun was surely there. "I could always pick you up and bring you somewhere." He said looking up and down the cold boy, not noticing how strange that sounded. He looked back at the first boy. "I'm Kaiser by the way." He said realizing he had never introduced himself. 'How rude.' Though his parents weren't mother and father of the decade they most definitely taught Kaiser manners, first and foremost, always introduce yourself. "Kaiser Kittes."

Chris watched as the guy took his jacket and put it on. It seemed to help, but he still looked cold. That isn't uncalled for, I suppose. He has been out in the cold for a bit from the looks of it.  "Can't move? Have you been outside like this for very long?" Christopher wondered, puzzled at how that was really possible in this weather. He might be extremely sensitive to the cold, though. This person was special and interesting, and Chris liked interesting people. "I suppose we could carry you..." He started, but the blond boy had already offered. Silently, Chris marveled at the thought of the boy carrying the other even though he was so short. It seems like he had met two incredible people today.

"I'm Christopher. Christopher Dolce." He smiled as he introduced himself back to Kaiser. "You can just call me Chris." A bright smile crossed Chris's face, glad that Kaiser was not as nervous as he was before the second boy came strolling by. "Say, what's your name?" Chris inquired the brown-haired boy as he pushed his hair out of his face. Hopefully he could make friends with both of the boys. As Chris started sinking into the thought, another burst of wind hit him, causing him to shiver. It was really quite cold, he realized without his jacket. "Why don't we move on inside?"

Did that just go over his head? I guess when I can move again I will have make sure he knows just what I am trying to getting at. He the realized they had both offered to carry him some where to get him warm, and thought the idea of two cute guys carrying him around seemed fun to him. “Well I am made a little differently then you boys are I am kinda part dinosaur.” He tried to explain knowing he would have do a little better then that. “... Ok I know that doesn't really help much, I am cold-blooded, meaning I have to keep my body heated or else I can't move much like right now.” The second these words came from his mouth he new they would both start looking at him strange like ever most kids at Powers did once they found out. Well at lest they didn’t see my teeth right away, and they missed my eyes too. Oh well will not bring it up unless they ask.

“So you are both willing to carry me around, all my best dreams start that way and my worst start when I become a dino...” he started to trail near the end of his statement. ``Since that is the cause and I really have no chose but to accept your offer, so I think its only right that I tell you two very nice people my name, I am Aidan Maguire.” He wasn’t sure why he said his full name, maybe it was just cause everyone else did, but he didn't lingered on that thought for too long before talking again “You all can call me Aidan.” He then turned to Kaiser , and spoke “You can call me any time you want.” He said was a subtle wink of his bright yellow eyes with the odd slit for a pupil. Ok that was real cheesy, oh well maybe he will take the hint this time. “But on any account thank you both for the help and its very nice to meet you both, and when I am a little warmer maybe be we can be friends or something.”

“Now it is time for us to take our leave to some place warmer,” He said with his hands at his side looking forward. “But I don't really know how to get to anywhere from here.” He said this not knowing if he could get into the elementary school at this time or not. “Also, how we going to do this whole picking up thing? Cause I don't know much ether of you can lift but looking at you it might take both of you to lift me. Not that I am fat, and not that ether of you are weak” Damn it, everything was going so nice up until then, I can never come off looking cool. He thought hanging his head waiting for ether of them to act.

"Dinosaur?" He asked tilting his head a bit. "So like...you're kinda like a lizard? Um...you have to keep your body temperature regulated?" He said hoping he didn't sound too ignorant. 'What an odd power.' The boy thought as he watched the boy. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can lift you up." He with a smirk. These guys had no clue what his power was, and it was always fun to see people's face when he actually showed them.

They always assumed Kaiser was as weak as he looked, but that was furthest from the truth. He turned his attention back to Aiden. 'Call him?' The boy thought as he watched him wink. 'His eyes.' Kaiser thought as he just noticed the boy's strange eyes. They were yellow, with a slit. 'Just like a dinosaur I guess.' He thought as he then remembered what he had just said. 'Did he just hit on me?' The blush seemed to stay on his face, dark red.

Kaiser kept quiet as the other spoke, letting him finish. "Like I said before I can pick you up." He said with a small smirk. He looked at the swing set and put his hand on it. "Watch." Kaiser easily picked the playground equipment off the ground. "I might have super strength or something." He said with a sly smile. "Now, we should get you some place warmer." He said as he walked over to Aiden and gently picked him off the ground. "Hold onto my neck." The boy said as cradled Aiden's legs. Though very awkward looking, it did it's job. "Chris, should we go to the dorms? I think that'd be best. And we should probably try to keep out of sight...this is a bit odd looking."

Part… dinosaur? Out of all the spectacular powers that Chris had seen, that was one of the more obscure ones. It would definitely be a marvel to become something that doesn't even genuinely exist in current times. "Cold-blooded, eh? I suppose that would be rather uncomfortable sometimes." He speculated, scratching the side of his cheek nonchalantly. Now that the guy had mentioned being part-dino, Chris noticed the reptile-like eyes and how they winked at him… Wait a sec... Did he just wink at us? That puzzled Chris for a moment or ten before he decided to disregard it. After all, getting him to somewhere warm was more urgent.

Kaiser is going to… lift Aidan up? With his eyes widening by the second, Chris watched as the short boy lifted the playground structure up with nearly unbelievable ease. He could understand why he was warned about beating Kaiser up earlier. He would have obviously lost in a fight unless he wanted to end up naked. "I think it's a bit more than maybe, Kaiser." Chris chuckled as the blond picked Aidan up. "We can definitely get to know each other better after we warm you up, Aidan. For now, The dorms are definitely a good idea." He nodded to Kaiser as he started to walk down the main path toward the dorms.

Then Chris thought for a second and turned back toward the two and added, "Oh yeah, that does look odd… in more ways than one." Avoiding the crowd would probably be a good idea in this case. "Let's cut through here; less people pass by and it's a shortcut." Chris pointed toward a small path between the trees that was nearly invisible if you didn't look in the right place. It was seclusive and wound directly toward the dorm building; An quick and hidden way to get to their destination.

“Ya I am kinda like that, I can also turn into dinosaurs. It's fun some times, not when I do it without thinking about it, but still fun.”Wow that was impressive, always liked stronger guys He would have been a little more shocked if he didn't already know that he was from power. Soon after Kaiser's impressive showing Aidan was picked up and asked him to hold on to his neck. So he took that opportunity to wrap his arms about his neck, “This might warm me up a little bit too.” He was really enjoying just resting on his Kaiser's back, but even with the body heat he got he was still too cold to move. “I don't know about awkward, I am just fine with this, but I was the one about to walk home in my boxers so I guess I am not one to judge” He said chuckling a little bit, waiting for them to get moving.

“And now since you two know what I can do, mind telling me what you can do? I think Kaiser's pretty obvious super strength, but from what I have learned over my years at Power's, there could be more to it. How about you Chris what can you do, super speed, laser eyes what?” He was only really asking this of them because he had nothing else to do as they started to walk. “As for the dorm thing, I would love for you two to take me back to my room, I would really like to get some pants. Then we can do what ever of you guys would like.” Now all he could do really was wait for them to talk next, and for his little saviour your to take him home, Wonder what would be the best way to think these too, I know how I would like to thank Kaiser, but how about Chris. Wonder what he would like in return, maybe I could make something for him, like a cake or something. Naw, if I cook anything it will be a full meal, with lots of meat, maybe chicken, or fish, no steak...

It was at this time that his stomach started to rumble and made aloud sound causing him to blush “I guess I am hungry.” Damn my infernal appetite

Kaiser nodded and started to follow Chris. 'This is such a strange way to make friends.' The boy thought as a small smile crossed his face. He didn't mind though, after all he WAS making friends. He turned his attention back to Aiden. "Right, there is a bit more that goes with my power. I don't always have super strength. I have to be in pretty much direct sunlight to have my powers." The boy said tightening his grip around Aiden's legs, not wanting the other to fall down. "I pretty much am just as powerful as my body lets me when its nighttime or im in a place without windows. Which, I'm pretty sure y'all can assume, isn't that strong." Kaiser said with a small smile. "Chris? Yeah, what can you do?"

Chris nodded as Kaiser explained his power. That seemed awesome, but also a bit inconvenient. "So that's basically super-strength that's solar powered, huh." He analyzed. "What I can do? Well, since you guys already showed your powers, it's only due that I show mine." Chris grinned as he raised a hand next to his face and waved it slightly, emphasizing its existence. "What I can do is…" He started as he made his hand intangible. The change wasn't visible, it was just that it became like a projection without mass. The hand was visible, but it wasn't essentially there. "…this." As he said this, Chris ran his now intangible hand straight through his head, demonstrating the fact that it could pass through anything.

"I can make myself or just part of myself intangible. That means that it can pass through stuff even though you can still see it. Technically I could walk through walls, but…" Chris scratched the back of his head sheepishly as his voice trailed off. "Well, my clothes pass through me as well if I make my body intangible, which is why I don't do that." That reminded him of the first time he turned intangible, running straight through a wall, leaving his clothes on the other side. It was horribly embarrassing, but Chris was glad that he discovered this special ability. 

As they talked, Chris realized that they were nearing the dorms. The building was coming closer and closer into view as the narrow little path came to an end. So far, no one had seen them, but they were going to leave the path soon and needed to be more cautious. "We're close to the dorms." Chris reported as he scanned the area with his eyes. "We'd better be careful and all. Wouldn't want to be caught in this state."

They both seem to be quite interesting, and cute. I think I am going to have a good day after all. He thought as he got carried back to the dorms. Just as things seemed to be going better for him, he was hit with a bitterly cold gust of wind. “Well I was getting warm until that happened.” He said laughing a little, trying to ignore the fact that he was slowly losing more and more mobility. “Also you guys have much cooler powers then I do, I mean super strength would come in handy, I mean I can be strong too but I have to be a really big dino to do that and then I get tired out because of it. Then the next day I wake up with one hankering for anything that is edible. Although sometimes I am so hungry I do eat a little bit of things that aren't exactly edible.” He felt like things were going well between these two and him even if he did start out nearly naked in a bush trying to figure out how to get by these two.

“Then there is becoming intangible, that is awesome and I know I could never do something even close to that... Unless there any dinos with that power that I don't know about but I doubt it” He said with a big smile. “And I completely understand how it feels with the whole clothes thing, I mean not only because I woke up today in the middle of a playground in my boxers, but if I don’t wear natural clothes I tend not to be wearing anything when I transform back. So lets just say I was a wee bit naked when I first used my powers, I was just lucky I wasn't cold blooded yet.” As he spoke he noticed that they where getting much closer to the dorms, Damn this means I will have to let go of the blonde cutie that has been ever so nice, but I do get to move again and get clothes, which is also nice. Damn it I hate when this kind of thing happens.

He then started to look around more as they got closer to the dorms, Ok no one else needs to see me like this, although it would be an easy way to pick out the not-so-out gay guys.... I think I will try that another time. He smiled at he thought that, but none-the-less kept a look out, “Ok it is about now I wish one of use could go invisible, or at least make me invisible, not that your powers aren't helpful. So lets hope that we can get to my room without giving the whole school a front row seat to see me nearly naked.” He said with a nervous smile, wanting things to go on with out a hitch.
