Karsey had just returned to her dorm after lunch. She had awhile before her next class. She sat on her bed which was the one that was on the far side of the room. Here she got a nice view out the window when she was in here during the day, and she could stare at the moon and the stars just perfectly at night. She sighed and threw her backpack and purse down on the the bed, flopping on to the purple and white bedspread, which she'd just bought for her bed. She took a quick look at all her posters, most of them of country singers, some pictures of her and her twin brother, Carson. She hated sometimes that they both went to two completely different schools.
She snapped out of her private thoughts and pulled her World History book from her backpack. She tied her long blond curls back in a tight ponytail and then rummaged through her backpack, her blue eyes scanning for the piece of paper in which she had written what chapter she needed to study in for her test which was just about an hour away. She finally found it. ~Chapter 24. Okay..Got it.~ She turned to the exact chapter and began to start reading. She hated studying. She barely remembered any thing. She would definatley need some history tutoring.
She just slammed the book shut and nearly screamed. "This is pointless!" She said out loud, really and honestly not meaning to. She wanted to hit something but she didn't. She took a deep breath. She came to the conclusion she'd just have to wing this test. Maybe she'd get lucky. She'd done it once before and passed the test. Maybe this would be a repeat. She could only hope.
