Kianna was having the time of her life, no really. She was sat in the cafeteria, her legs crossed resting on her table as she waited. Waited for what? Who knows. Her tilby hat was resting on her face, yes her face. She had, touched a surface by accident this morning, and it didn't end well. She came out of her vision enticed coma with a headache. Which was never a good sign. Her stomach had grumbled slightly as she let her feet slide to the floor. A small audiable growl came from behind that black material that still rested on her head. "This is stupid. I don't want a headache all the time." It was more of a whine and a winge then anything.
She had fished out her purse stop pay for her small piece of breakfast, she knew she couldn't stomach alot for breakfast. It was going to be one heck of a day. The table had told her so, it had said there would be a catastropic discovery on her part, before she conked out and woke up on the floor. Unelegant or womenly but thats how it always happened. She'll brush any surface with skin, and get a vision of the future or the past. Which some were stupid, some were actually important. Though none of that mattered, not at this time of the day.
She slowly stalked back to the table which had her superbag bag resting on it. Crammed packed with her class books, though she was feeling weak and may not turn up to classes that were surely going to start in the next minute or so, as soon as Kianna looked at the clock, the bell rang out, annoucing that anyone who was straggling around should be in lesson, but the only thing the bell told Kianna was to go back to bed, and she had just the mind to do that. As Kianna made to leave she heard footsteps in the corridor. She stilled half way out of her seat, expecting someone to come shout at her, like the dean of students.

The bell ringing was just a sign for Nathan to head away from the classroom. He didn't want to spend all of his time in class, especially not when he wasn't learning anything from it. All the hours he'd spent there had only served to bore him, and to alienate him from the other students. They didn't know why he jumped and shouted at them when they poked him to ask for a pencil; he was a mystery, a quiet brooding figure in the corner that was best left undisturbed. But skipping class was getting harder and harder, especially now that some of his teachers were catching on. That was the main problem with a boarding school; it was hard to find somewhere to cut class, especially when he wasn't allowed to go off-campus.
Finally he'd decided to go to the cafeteria. If anybody came in and asked why he wasn't in class, he could simply say that he hadn't felt good, and needed a snack to calm his stomach. It was a perfectly plausible excuse, and he'd used it before. The teacher who'd been questioning him had simply walked away, and he wondered whether he was a better liar than he'd thought, or whether the teacher was new.
He settled himself at a table in the corner and dropped his backpack on the bench next to him. He had a granola bar or something in there somewhere, but he really wasn't in the mood to eat. Buying something was completely out of the question, as well: he knew that they stopped selling food once the bell rang, to encourage students to get to class. Oh, well. With a sigh, he dug an iPod from his backpack and settled down for a long wait.

Kianna had dropped back into the seat, as the footsteps stopped. She released a breath that she had unconciously caught in her throat. She had let her hat drop to the floor, while she was caught in action. She bent down to lift her hat from the floor, and plop it onto her head once more, this time. Her face was seeable. She had pale skin, and small eyes, which happen to be a jade color. Her eyes were lined with eyeshadow and eyeliner, and her hair was teased.
All in all she wasn't happy about not being caught, she didn't want to sit in the Cafeteria all by herself. This was her problem, Kianna hated being on her own, she hadn't really noticed the boy seat himself in the corner, until she stood and made her way over to the till. Her throat was dry, her superman bag was resting on her shoulder. Strolling over to the boy, she realized it was the guy who snapped and screamed when you touched him. At first she thought he was upset, but no. Every time. Well really she liked being a Psychometric, now she had a good excuse for not touching, plus the thought of being shouted at was not appealing.
Her gloved hand pulled the chair opposite the boy out, she plopped herself down in the oak chair, as she dropped her water onto the table. "Don't mind if I sit here do you?" She was always one to ask before doing, even though she had sat first, she would of moved straight away if he told her so, but of course, she wouldn't go far.

Nathan glanced up for only a moment as he heard someone approaching. Then he turned back to his iPod. Whatever. He had no idea who this girl was, or where she'd come from; for all he knew, she was cutting class as well, but that didn't mean they were instantly going to be friends. Hell, he didn't even want to talk to her. Part of the reason he'd cut class was so he could be alone, and having somebody around would definitely ruin that plan.
Still, he couldn't stop her from sitting there, as he found out the hard way. He could barely hear the question over the music in his ears, but managed to understand enough. Reluctantly, he nodded. "Yeah, whatever." It would be easier to let her sit there and ignore her than to try to move her away. Never mind that every other table in the cafeteria was empty. Maybe she was just too scared to sit alone, or afraid that she'd get called out for skipping.

Kianna would of sat there alone all day if she need be, but she had been joined by a fellow skipper. Well in all honesty she was feeling under the weather. She gave a tilt of her head, still staring at the male, as she drummed her fingers on the table. She was biting at her lip as she watched him silently.
" You know its rude to ignore someone" She didn't really want to bother him if he didn't want someone to talk to, but Kia really didn't want to go to class, and trying to do the assignments with a headache would probably knock her out for a couple more hours. She quirked her eyebrow, which made he hat twitch slightly, her tongue licking at her chapped lips.

Nathan shrugged again. It wasn't like this girl's thoughts meant much to him. He wasn't her friend, and he didn't have any intention of becoming such. After starting off on the wrong foot with so many people, it seemed like this school just wasn't the place for him. The last thing he wanted to do was make friends; all he wanted now was to get out and go home, back to living with his father, or even his mother, if it came to that.
"So? I didn't ask you to come over here and sit with me. I have every right to ignore you." And then his attention was back on the iPod again. He idly flicked through pages of apps, looking for something to entertain him. Maybe Doodle God or something... anything that would kill an entire class period.

Well Kianna was never one to get angry because she wasn't wanted around but she couldn't help feeling irritated. The guy was going to ignore her, and she didn't enjoy this. Ignorance was the worst kind of punishment that anyone could bestow. She stared at her phone for a minute; typing away at something she lived on. Twitter. She was practically was ALWAYS logged in.
She clicked her tongue as she let her phone fall rest on the pale blue table that spaced her and the male apart. She was continuing to stare at him. She always stared she hardly ever blinked, which was weird, but she was very curious all the time; it was like she had never seen a male before.
Another click of her tongue she looked around the clinically clean cafeteria, she felt rather sick with how clean it was; she didn't like being in places so white and pale blue. Kianna was a very messy person and she showed that just by being in the midst. She was bored, which was she initally decided to come to talk to this socially awkward boy.
A small hum broke her lips as she tapped her fingers on the table. So the humming became words, in a rather ruggish voice. It wasn't her normal singing but it suited well to the song. " Send him down to the depths. Make that bastard walk the plank with a bottle of rum, and a YO HO HO." Kianna had always been obssessed with priate rock, and this had been her favourite.

Nathan looked up at the girl without bothering to move. His eyes barely flicked onto her for a second before he turned his attention back to his iPod. He could ignore humming. Humming was nothing. He'd listened to music with a lawnmower in the background at home; his father had mowed the lawn a lot, even when snow was beginning to fall, "just to make sure". He could definitely handle humming.
But now she was singing. He sighed heavily and shoved the iPod in his pocket, then stood up. "Look, I'm trying to be nice about this, but the least you could do is try to be a little respectful of others. If I'd cut class so I could go hang around with my friends, I think I'd be doing that right now. Did you ever think that I might want to be alone?" He turned and headed for the door. This was such a waste of his time. Why had he thought that he could find any peace here? His dorm would be better. Kaiser and Lucas were in class.
