She doesn't like being criticized and she is slightly in a sort of shell because she was close to being abused by her step father. She gets along with people well but it takes work at times to get through to her completely.

- Was enrolled to Power's Academy at six, a late age when her parents discovered her power which was being able to talk to and understand animals emotions and thoughts.

- Turned 12, along with her brother and watched as Alaine and John divorced and the family crumbled. Her mother and father only saw Alaine and John on holidays and other special occasions.

- When she turned 15, she learned her mother remarried a man she met at the grocery store as hey worked as a cashier named Corey Vest.

- Corey started to become emotionally and slightly physically abusive toward Karsey and her brother whenever they would come home from the academy and this continued for years, Alaine not knowing at all.

- Karsey is now 18 and is a Senior living in a dorm at Power's Academy. She is hoping to go to college from here to study being a veterinarian.

( S A M P L E P O S T )[/B][/COLOR] It was another one of those cold, miserable fall days in La Push once again. This is how it usually was in the winter in Washington state. You couldn't escape it. If the weather decided to, it would probably dump either freezing snow, freezing rain, or both. On this day, things were somewhat different for 16 year old Daylon Black. She was actually enjoying today's weather, and she decided to celebrate it with a trip to her most favorite spot in La Push ever besides her house. First Beach.

Daylon walked along the beach, her light blue Converse kicked around the sand, and some got in her shoes, but she didn't care. It was freezing outside, but even in her pale pink and brown tank top and blue jean shorts, the cold barely registered on her 108 degree skin. As she walked, she stared up at the sky thinking, while running her fingers over her gold locket that she kept around her neck. She sighed and breathed in the salty sea air. She wasn't thinking about anything but being alone and relaxing.

She let her self sit down on the sand, then took off her shoes and socks until she was barefoot, and dug her toes into the sand. She laid down closing her eyes, twirling a black curl while slipping into her own thoughts. She honestly thought no one would bother her today. She didn't know she'd be completely WRONG.

Hey! So I love your character, but there's one issue I have to clear up.

Students live on the campus in dorms and spend all holidays but Summer Break at the Academy. Parents are welcome to come and visit their children during holidays, but the students are most often confined to the school grounds even when school is out. Occasional exceptions are rare, but can be arranged

From your bio I'm getting the feel that even though Karsey has been at Power's Academy since the first year that students are eligible to come here, she's been living with her parents, but that's not how Power's Academy works. She would have spent all year at the Academy, other than Summer Holidays and perhaps others if we say that her parents had a special, rare arrangement with the school administration. Power's Academy is basically a boarding school; not a normal high school because of the special circumstances of its students. If you could sort this out and change it/make it clear in your bio that this is the case, I'll accept her. :) Thanks!
