( N I C K N A M E ) Luc, Meadows but he mostly just goes by his full given name.
( A G E ) Seventeen years old
( B I R T H D A Y ) 5th of November
( G R A D E ) Junior
( S E X U A L O R I E N T A T I O N ) Heterosexual

( P O W E R ) Telekinesis.
Lucas has the ability to move objects with the power of his mind, as well as projecting force fields and sending out blasts of telekinetic force. When he first arrived at Power's Academy he had little control over these abilities. The most he could manage was to levitate small and inanimate objects such as pencils or pebbles. Over the years his strength and control has increased somewhat thanks to the training the school offers. These days he is able to move quite large objects through the air, and has even used his powers to levitate other people occasionally. Lately he's been focusing on creating force fields and sending out telekinetic blasts, something he still finds very hard to do, and in the case of the force fields even harder to uphold. To be able to get his abilities to work, he needs to use his hands to direct the telekinetic power. There are still times when his control falters and if he gets angry he might end up sending something hurtling through the air without meaning to. He's bothered with strong headaches if he overexerts himself in regards to his power.

( H A I R ) Personally Lucas is of the opinion that his hair is a mousy gray color, at least during the summers when the sun pales it even lighter than what is normally the case. Most other people would argue that his hair is a light brown color, however. He keeps it fairly short.
( E Y E CO L O R ) The color of his eyes is probably Lucas' most striking feature in regards to his appearance. They're a pale blue nuance, almost bordering to gray, and makes him look somewhat more innocent than what is perhaps entirely justifiable.
( H E I G H T ) At 6'1 feet Lucas is fairly tall. He normally rages around a head above most of the girls in his year, and few of the guys are taller him.
( W E I G H T ) 145 pounds
( T A T T O O S ) Although the idea of getting a tattoo has always had a certain appeal to Lucas, he has never actually gone through with it. When he was younger this was because he feared that his parents would throw him out of the house if he showed up with something permanently etched into his skin. These days he finds this past worry to be pretty amusing, seeing as they ended up evicted him from home none the less when his powers surfaced.
( P I E R C I N G S ) None.
( C L O T H I N G S T Y L E ) Having grown up never having to worry about money, Lucas used to take his tailored and expensive clothes for granted. After he arrived at Powers Academy he had no choice but to become somewhat more modest in this regards, however, seeing as his budged was chucked in half by his parents. His dress style is fairly casual and he usually dons worn out jeans and a neutral t-shirt or a sweater. He doesn't like to stand out too much, and will normally avoid clothes that are too flashy or colorful, preferring down to earth shades such as blue or brown.

+ Being in control: “I guess I've always been something of a control freak, and so I can't help but to hate feeling like there's something I can't do or manage on my own. Needless to say, waking up one day with a tendency to send things flying through a room without even touching them wasn't a welcome surprise. At least these days I have some level of control.”
+ Winning: “My father always taught me that there's no difference between coming in last and coming in second. The only thing that matters is who comes in first.”
+ People with a sense of humor: “If there's one thing I've learned in life, it is that you need a healthy dose of irony to get through it with your sanity intact.”
+ Parties: “Technically we're not really supposed to have any which involve fun or alcohol at the Academy. Then again, that's never stopped anyone.”
+ Coffee: “You honestly wouldn't want to meet me in the mornings before I've had at least one decent cup.”
+ Being challenged: “Just don't tell the teachers that, or they would take it as a sign that I need more to do.”
+ Green apples: “I don't know why, but I've eaten at least three of them each day since I was six years old.”
+ Summer: “Long nights, vacation and sun. What's not to like?”
+ Reading: “Surprising uh? I mostly read before I go to bed though, so chances are that you haven't actually seen me doing it. After all, I've got a reputation to uphold and it doesn't involve being a book worm.”
+ Ice cream: “My favorite flavor is pistachio, but I'll settle for anything as long as it's cold, creamy and sweet. Although you normally can't bribe me I might make an exception for ice cream.”
( D I S L I K E S )
- Not understanding something: “Whether it's a puzzle or a person, failing to understand something will drive me up the walls.”
- Rain: "While rain might be liveable if I am inside a hot room with a steaming cup of coffee in my hand, it most certainly isn't if I'm forced into direct contact with it. Call me a sissy."
- Early morning training sessions or classes: "I'm one of those late sleepers."
- Tolerance: "Perhaps an odd thing to dislike, but I'm sick of having people tell me that they tolerate me. What does that say anyway? I hate your guts but I'll refrain from actually doing anything about it? If that's the case then I prefer my parents who actually tell you to your face that they find you disgusting."
- Feeling confined: "I just a tad bit claustrophobic."
- Being told what to do: “I'm more of the type of person who likes to issue the orders rather than carrying them out.”
- Loosing: “Not that it ever happens of course.”
- His power: “Basically my life was going great up until the moment when I started levitating furniture around. If it was up to me we wouldn't be learning to control these abilities, but rather focus on how to make them go away.”
- His parents: “I've never been much of a fan of the whole telekinesis thing myself, but I sure handled it better than my mother and father did.”
- Broccoli: “I simply can't stand the smell or taste of it.”
( S T R E N G T H S )
+ Determination: Once Lucas has made up his mind about something, it's pretty close to impossible to get him to change it again. He will go to great lengths to ensure that he reaches his goals in life and it would take a lot to stop him.
+ Confidence: Most people wouldn't consider Lucas' strong belief in himself to be a good thing, seeing as he can sometimes come off as being an arrogant jerk. Even so, his confidence in himself is often what makes him succeed where others fail.
+ Moral: Ever since he was young Lucas has judged himself and his actions after a standard that is never quite reachable. After his power surfaced this is something which has only intensified. He is very concerned with making the right choices in life, and strongly dislikes realizing it if he´s made a mistake.
+ Courage: In a potentially dangerous situation Lucas would be a good guy to have watching your back. He's level-headed and manages to keep his cool and make the right choices under difficult circumstances, even if it means certain sacrifices and risks on his part. He would never back down if he thought doing something was the right thing, even if the odds were clearly against him.
+Humor: Lucas is of the opinion that self-irony is one of the most important things needed to face the general hardships in life. If you're not able to laugh at yourself, crying might just be the only other option left. Lately he feels like his humor has turned a little more dark and twisted than what he intended to, however. Then again, so has his life.
( W E A K N E S S E S )
- Prejudiced: Lucas isn't the most open-minded guy around. If you happen to be one of the less fortunate people in society, he will probably have formed an impression of you from the first split second you meet. The same used to go for anyone who couldn't be considered entirely normal. His upper-class background meant that he was raised to consider some people to be better than others, and as such he formed as strong dislike towards anyone who could be describe as abnormal or freaks. Being one doesn't mean that these ideas merely disappear, but it has most certainly given him a new perspective on things.
-Reckless: When he was young his mother used to say that Lucas suffered from some sort of delusion. Mainly that he was indestructible. Though he got more than a few indicators that this was not so while he was growing up, he has always been the sort of person to take chances. Surprisingly enough he has landed on his feet most of the time, but every once in a while this behavior leads to him crashing face first into a brick wall.
-Unforgiving: If you have ever hurt or treated Lucas unfairly, he is not likely to forget it. He's never believed in second chances, and nobody is better than him at holding grudges.
-Self-loathing: Becoming what he had spent years to look down upon was a difficult transition for Lucas. Seeing as he had always considered those who fell outside society's regular frames to be fundamentally different from himself, he was faced with the choice of either accepting that change in himself as well, or to reconsider his old opinions. Even though he has come a long way when it comes to breaking down some of his unfounded fear and contempt, there is still a core left in him that can't help feeling tainted and ruined.
- Arrogant: To most people around him, Lucas comes off as a stuck up jerk. He finds it much easier to treat people badly from the beginning than to be nice and risk being rejected. Lately he's been trying to come off as a little more humble though.

+ Levitates small objects when he's thinking.
- Constantly oversleeps for lessons.
- Answers almost anything with either sarcasm or flirtatious remarks.
+ Likes to clear his head by jogging.

1. Lucas has always been terrified of shut in spaces. This fear stems from his childhood. When he was four years old his older brother Charles shut him inside a closet, and he stayed there for over an hour before being found by one of the staff and let out.
2. Lucas fears that he might never gain control over his ability, and that he will end up as a freak for the rest of his life.
( S E C R E T S )
- He has told all of his friends from back home that his parents have sent him to a private institution for the rich and talented and is terrified that they might find out the truth.
- His father has promised that he can come back home when he can keep his abnormality under control.

( O V E R A L L )
On the surface Lucas might come off as being a wholly arrogant, confident and self-centered person. He behaves in the manner of someone who is entirely certain of his own stature in the world, and who has never once doubted that he belongs at the very top of the food chain. His lack of modesty and self-assurance will sometimes make him seem slightly condescending to his peers and teachers. In addition to this he has a tendency of taking most things around him for granted, something which make him come off as a rich and pompous brat to some.
There is an undeniable air of control and confidence to Lucas' personality. He has a way of making people around him feel small and inconsequential by comparison, and always appears to be entirely comfortable in his own skin. His love for irony and sarcasm can often make it difficult to decide whether he is mocking the person he is speaking with or not, and he has always liked to unsettle those around him.
Though his teachers might beg to differ Lucas is actually quite intelligent. He has an analytical mind, and values rationality far more than what he might seem to. He's always been concerned with knowing what goes on around him, and can rarely leave a question or riddle unsolved. Ever since he was young he has had a way of picking up on patterns in the world around him, and he is very good at filling in the gaps between what people are saying and what they are keeping to themselves. Ever since he was young he has been something of a perfectionist, and he will rarely settle for a result unless he feels that it is the best he can produce.
Most of the people who knew Lucas before his power became apparent would probably say that he's not an ounce better than the conceited boy he was then than he what he is presently. They would, however, be quite wrong in this. Though he has by no means rolled over on his back and admitted to his past mistakes and narrow-minded opinions, Lucas is a much more mature person these days than his younger self. He just doesn't show it very often.
Lucas personality began to change the same year as he was sent to Powers Academy. Up until then he had been the golden boy of the family, his father's favorite son and had his whole future planned out ahead of him. Suddenly being cast out into the proverbial cold by his parents made his perspective change, however. His sense of invulnerability and security was irrevocably shattered and he was forced to change his perspective of life. In time he has begun to be slightly more sensitive towards other than what he was before, and has toned down his former arrogant behavior. There are still bound to be those out there who will clash with him at Power's, however, but those who bother to see past the surface might be surprised at what they find.

Lucas Meadows was born on the 5th of November in California, USA, becoming the second son of William and Cecilia Meadows. Both of his parents came from lower class backgrounds, but had managed to work their way out of poverty to become millionaires by founding a private firm together. Growing up Lucas was spoiled in a materialistic sense. Everything he owned was brand new and of the highest quality. The only “hand-me-down” he ever received from his parents were their prejudges against people who remained poor rather than to put in the effort needed to better their lives, or towards those of fell outside society's norms. Emotionally speaking he was worse off, however. His father Charles was a firm believer in a father's disciplinarian role, as well as in the positive effect of competition. Therefore he constantly put his two son's up against each other from the moment they were old enough for it to have a purpose.
Despite being four years younger than his brother, Lucas would usually come out of these confrontations far better than Charles did, and as such he soon earned himself the position as his father's favorite. The constant need to preform well in order to win his parents approval made Lucas into something of a perfectionist, and he was rarely able to be satisfied with himself. He copied his father in everything the man did, however, and he would never let his insecurity show. Instead he turned his anger and resentment outwards, treating most of his peers with a mocking disdain. Even with the few friends he deemed worthy there was always an aspect of competition, and due to their father's setting them apart right from the start, his relationship with his brother was strained at best.
It wasn't until Lucas turned twelve that his picture perfect life came to a crashing halt. Over the past year he had been experiencing all the more frequent headaches, and none of the doctors his parents had hired could come up with a solution to his problems. He began to find it hard to concentrate at school, and his grades dropped dramatically. Finally one expert suggested that his problems might be psychological rather than physical. Needless to say, his father was less than thrilled at his son's development. Even so, Charles Meadows would later often point out that he would have preferred a sick son to what he ended up with.
Lucas' telekinetic abilities surfaced during the summer vacation the same year, something both his parents considered to be a small mercy. He and his brother had been spending time out on the family estate together when Lucas suddenly collapsed. When his brother tried to approach him he found himself unable to touch Lucas at all. An invisible force kept him from coming closer than a couple of meters away. Anything which was nearer to Lucas than this rose up into the air, hovering a few inches above him. If it hadn't been for the fact that the security cameras caught the whole incident, their parents would probably have thought that the story Charles told them later that day was nothing but a deranged fantasy.
When Lucas finally came to again, he found himself in his bed with no memory of what had happened. Neither of his family members wanted to explain to him what was going on, but his father ordered that he'd stay in his room. Although no one would talk to him Lucas got the distinct feeling that he was being punished for something, and not knowing what made him angry and frustrated. After his mother had brought him a tray of food the next day he ended up sending it hurtling through the into the wall – without touching it at all. His father was furious at him, and instructed his son that he would either stop whatever it was he had started doing, or he would suffer the consequences. This was the first time Lucas really understood how fleeting his father's affection was. Rather than trying to help him figuring out what was happening to him, he was hidden away like some sort of freak. And try as he might he just couldn't stop using his new found power. Every time he got the least bit upset, something would be sent flying and he was helpless to stop it.
Within a couple of months Lucas lost his place of grace with his parents. They refused to let him go back to school again when the next term started and instead opted to teach him at home. In the end neither of them had the time to act as full time teachers, however, and they didn't dare let hire anyone out of fear that the rumor of their son's affliction might spread. The solution became Power's Academy. Initially his father was only interested in finding a place that could cure Lucas, but once he realized he wouldn't find anyone who could make his son normal again, he decided that the boy should at the very least learn to use his power discreetly. Despite the fact that Lucas was quite clear about his unwillingness to leave his home and friends behind, his parents sent him away a few weeks later. The last thing his father told him before putting him on the plane to the Academy, was that he wouldn't be allowed to come home permanently again until he had his condition under control. For the last few years Lucas has been working with that goal in mind. His life at the school has given him a somewhat more nuanced way of viewing the world, but he still can't help but to want to go home again, and in the end that is his main priority.
( S A M P L E P O S T ) “Have we reached an agreement then?” He waited until the other man reluctantly nodded before snapping his brief case shut and getting to his feet. “It’s been a pleasure doing business with you Mister Hall,” Draco said with a smirk, heading towards the exit of the bustling coffee shop where their meeting had taken place without a second glance back towards the gloomy man he left behind. If the wizard had any sense at all he would accept Draco’s terms to the proposed deal. That, if nothing else was an advantage to the increasingly strict trading rules the Ministry currently enforced. It kept the suppliers in his special branch of trade down to a minimum, meaning that he was free to dictate the terms of most agreements. If the client didn’t like that fact then they could take their business elsewhere and risk the Ministry finding out. When it came to discreetness and costumer services there was no one who could measure up to his standards.

Draco stepped out into the bright world outside pulling his coat closer around him. In early September Hogsmeade’s roads were beginning to be covered with fallen leaves, and a pale sun on a cloudless sky made it difficult to see anything at all. Even so, Draco found himself stopping in the main street and casting a thoughtful glance up at the towering shape of Hogwarts not too far away. Strange as it might seem he could never shake the mental image of the castle in the days after the Battle. Even though the walls were now smooth and polished he couldn’t wipe away the memory of how they had looked after they had been broken at the hands of Death Eaters and giants. He could still picture every burn mark and imperfection left by flying curses upon the stone work, and he could still see the great doors of the school lying shattered upon the ground. His family had payed for a lot of the reparations themselves. It had been expected.

Frowning he turned into a nearby alley, considering whether or not a trip to Diagon Alley was necessary before returning to the mansion. He knew Astoria was waiting for him. He had sensed that there was something she had wanted to talk to him about before he left, and he had a feeling he knew what it would be. His wife wanted to start working again. Logically he could understand the idea. Scorpius was almost an adult now, and away for most parts of the year in any case. His job kept him occupied at all hours of the day, and the social gatherings during weekends and vacations were mostly organized by the staff. Even so, his inbred sense of status cringed at the thought of his wife doing something as menial as working. On the other hand, the two of them had been making baby steps towards making their marriage work lately. He most definitely didn't want to be the one who tore down all the bridges again. Sighing he turned another corner. They would discuss it. She would win. She always did.

He was slammed into the wall so quickly that he didn’t even have the time to brace himself, and the air was completely knocked from his lungs. Panting for breath he glared at the man currently holding him, trying to regain his composure. “What in Merlin’s name do you think your doing?” he snapped angrily taking in the state of the filthy man currently pinning him to the wall. “Shut up Malfoy,” the man grunted and Draco knitted his eyebrows in distaste. His wand was currently in his left hand pocket, and at this angle he couldn’t quite reach it. His attacker seemed to have noticed his uncomfortable movements and let out a rasping laugh. “It ain’t gonna do you no good to curse me Malfoy. I’m only here with a message for you.”

Feeling himself grow a little more secure Draco sneered at the stranger disdainfully. “Out with it then,” he commanded, “I’d rather be on my way before your filthy hands completely ruins my coat.” The man smirked back at him, obviously enjoying his current position of power. “Trust me, the state of your coat is the least of your worries. Did you really think you could get away with betraying your own kind Malfoy? That treachery was something that would be forgiven? Uh?” For the first time Draco felt a surge of uncertainty swell up inside him. Perhaps he had misjudged the situation? He had assumed the man was just some tug rented by a dissatisfied customer wanting to give him a scare. His words, however, made a noticeable shiver run down his spine. The man leaned in a little closer. “It’s time to pay the price Malfoy, and it will be demanded that you do so in full…”

Suddenly he was released from the vice-like grip he had been held in. Before Draco could draw his wand his left hand burned as if it had been lit on fire. Falling to his knees Draco let out a groan and clasped his right hand over the other. When the pain finally subsided enough for him to think clearly again he looked up and saw that the man had vanished. Cursing he got to his feet, gently rubbing his left arm. Pulling up the sleeve of his coat Draco’s eyes fell on the cursed tattoo that was still etched upon his skin. His Death Eater mark pulsated, and for a second it was completely clear against his pale complexion. Then it faded into the mark he had learned to hate over the years. A silent reminder of past mistakes he couldn’t leave behind. Shaking ever so slightly he willed his hands steady as he straightened his clothes out. Then he set off down the alley again, suddenly feeling that it was imperial that he got home quickly. All the time his left arm gently throbbed, an insistent pain constantly reminding him that there were some mistakes you couldn’t turn your back on, no matter how hard you tried...
